True to its ambition to satisfy as many people as possible, the programme of professional living entertainment: Bravo 2015/2016, aims to provide quality and variety with a special focus on writing.
Music, theatre and some well-known names: Bernard Pivot, Marie-Christine Barrault, not forgetting Caroline Loeb, will rub shoulders through the year with regional companies supported by the Town of Royan: the "La Vie est ailleurs" (Life is Elsewhere) company directed by Camille Geoffroy, or the "Collectif OrNormes" (ExtraOrdinary Collective) which will draw the portrait of a magnificent woman inspired by a well-known character in Royan society.
Humour also has a good place in the programme, with off-beat shows such as "Les banquettes arrières, chanteuses a capella… par accident" (The backseats, a cappella singers … by accident), and top quality theatre productions which allow serious matters to be discussed in light-hearted manner, like "Le mariage de M. Weissmann" (M. Weissmann's wedding), directed by Salomé Lelouch and highly praised by public and critics alike.
Music lovers are also well-catered for with three chamber music concerts, a Renaissance concert, a piano/narrator recital and, of course, the Poitou-Charentes Orchestra.
In September 2016 the new season will be presented, full of things to discover and pleasures to share with friends and family, and especially, as often as you like!
